Company CEOs to storm Caleb University for 2026 Employability Fair

At least 40 company chief executive officers and industry leaders will storm Caleb University, Lagos, this week for the 2026 Employability Fair. The employability fair, also known as a career fair or job expo, provides the final year students of the university with the unique opportunity to meet employers, recruiters, and training providers to find jobs, build professional networks, and improve work skills. The forum will also enable the students to talk face-to-face with company hiring teams, get insights into resume writing and interviewing and meet industry experts to grow contacts. The theme of this year’s edition, the third since 2024, is “Beyond the Degree: Unlocking Skills, Networks, and Opportunities for a Dynamic Job Market.” It will take place from August 4 -5 at the University’s Multipurpose Hall in Imota, Lagos. The event will be chaired by the Lagos State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Mr. Tunbosun Alake, with Director, West Africa Hub, Head, Genetic Resources Centre, International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, Oyo State, Prof. Michael Abberton, as the Special Guest of Honour. The Founder/Executive Director, SEED Care and Support Foundation; Founder, Mrs. Olanrewaju Oniylitan, will be the keynote speaker.
